Adoption & Rescue Centre (ARC)

With ASD rapidly progressing to a larger scale of rescue and rehoming in the earlier years, the initial reliance on a network of foster parents became a challenge, both in terms of scarcity and stability and so an Adoption & Rescue Centre (ARC) was established in June 2007 at Lim Chu Kang to provide a safe and stable sanctuary for the many sick and injured dogs to recover fully before finding their forever home.

In October 2022, we relocated to The Animal Lodge at Sungei Tengah and repositioned our new facilities as the ASD Canine Rehoming Centre (ACRC). The ACRC currently houses 80+ dogs. The remainder of the dogs under our care are in foster homes.  Running and maintaining the ACRC requires a tremendous amount of resources from food, medication, equipment, etc and every little bit counts. Here are some of the ways you can help:

• Make a donation: Every donation made to www.giving.sg/donate/campaign/please-give-us-a-hand from now to 31 March 2025 is matched by the Government and Tote Board, doubling your impact!

• Sponsor a dog (or two!): We offer sponsorship programmes for both individuals as well as corporates.

• Volunteer with us: We rely on our volunteers to help us help the dogs. New volunteers are inducted at regular intervals with training classes. Please note that all volunteers need to be over 21 for safety reasons
