As adoptions drop and our beloved dogs age, their needs change — and senior dogs in our care require extra attention, comfort, and support. While facing the challenges of aging (arthritis, vision loss, dental issues, and more), their medical bills continue to rise as they require ongoing veterinary care, medications, and special accommodations to stay comfortable. Many of the dogs are now on palliative care, and we would like them to age with dignity.

Most may never be adopted, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the best possible life in their golden years. As a no-kill shelter, we are committed to providing them with a peaceful, loving environment for as long as they need it.
