Handsome and super friendly Osho came to stay with us over the Chinese New Year period and was showered with lots of love and attention. He loves people and for them to give him chest rubs and massages ! You could tell he was very well loved and taken care of by his family. Here is what Osho’s owner, Vicki had to say :

“I was very pleased with the service. Osho liked the Care Counsellor on sight so it was a good start. I think he was well looked after as he came back very happy with no battle scars, unlike a previous bad encounter.

Thanks for giving him so much care and attention cos he needs it. He LOVES people. He actually has an agression problem as he was attacked a few times before but i didn’t see him exhibit any signs of agression even the day we stepped in with so many dogs barking at him. Also, when I came to bring him home, everything was prepared already.

The cleanliness standard is very good, so says my dad who is a very clean person, and I wholeheartedly agree. I give a rating of 5/5

Another 5/5 rating to the Care Counsellors who were very very patient and took very good care of Osho.

When we came to take him back, he was very happy to see us, albeit tired. But no stress at all from what I can tell. I would not hesitate to send him here again

Please give my sincere thanks to the Care Counsellors, they took very good care of Osho !”

Friendly and affectionate Alfie came to stay with us when his owners Pam and Peter had to go overseas. Pam and Peter were careful and cautious about choosing a good environment for Alfie, and they were quite happy to board Alfie with us after we gave them a tour of the place and explain in detail how we cared for the dogs.As for Alfie, he fitted right in, he loved the attention from our caretakers, made friends with little puppies as well as the big fellas, and really made himself at home ! And he also got his daily chicken wings just like when he was home !

Here is what Alfie’s owner, Pam had to say :

“He came back to us clean and healthy, very relaxed and settled back into home life straight away. He wasn’t stressed at all !

Special thanks to the Care Counsellors for organising things so well and taking exta special care of our Alfie,  thank you ! We will definitely be visiting again and will recommend ASD if anyone we know requires a kennel.

So we would give a rating of 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place, the service level of the Care Counsellors, the cleanliness of my dog and the relaxed state of my dog after returning home”

Slim supermodel Shiloh came to stay with us when her owners Lynn and Ernest went abroad. Shiloh was rescued by ASD and spent almost 2 years with us before finding her wonderful forever home with Lynn and Ernest.Despite not having seen us for almost a year, Shiloh still remembered us and was all wags and tongue. She settled in nicely and was soon running around her spacious dorm. How else could she maintain her slim figure ?

Here is what Shiloh’s owner, Lynn had to say :

“Hygiene is good and the place is clean, always in a constant state of washing up. The tiles in the kennels are clean too. Attitude of the counsellors are good and we can see and sense their passion.

Shiloh seems very happy and comfortable there. Upon reaching home, she actually slept the whole day and only woke up for her dinner !

I give a rating of 4.5/5 for the cleanliness of the place, 5/5 for the service level of the Care Counsellors, 4/5 for the cleanliness of my dog and a 4.5/5 for the relaxed state of my dog after returning home”

Kelly is a beautiful petite local cross breed that was rescued from the Tuas area and was very fortunate to find a forever home with Pamela and her family within a week. When they have to travel, the natural choice was to have ASD look after their precious poochKelly has since grown into a healthy, happy and confident pooch who loves stomach rubs, basking in the sun and the company of people, especially those that rescued her !

The Care Counsellors make it a point to know the dog under their care intimately through keen observation and experience, and to make sure they are happy and relaxed

For dogs like Kelly who sometimes have skin rashes, proper diet and cleanliness is crucial to ensure there is no outbreak which can prove costly at the vet ! Kelly is a regular client now as the family makes frequent short trips and she considers these stays like holidays as well !

Here is what Kelly’s owner, Pamela, had to say :

“I give a rating of 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place, 5/5 for the service level of the Care Counsellors, 5/5 for the cleanliness of my dog and a 5/5 for the relaxed state of my dog after returning home”

Emma, a sweet grand old dame of 10 years came to stay with us for seventeen days. It was a long time to be away from her beloved owner and with her advanced age, we wanted to understand all her needs to make her stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.Sandra, her owner, told us Emma had a fear of thunder and her way of coping with anxiety and stress was to lick and chew her paw. She also liked being around people.

To meet her needs and ensure she was very comfortable, Emma was placed in an area where the Care Counsellors congregated and she followed them about their duties ! After the stay, we were sad to see her go, for in that period, she had become so much a part of us !

Here is what Emma’s owner, Sandra, had to say :

“My utmost thanks to ASD for taking such good care of Emma. Seventeen days is a long time to be away and I was concerned that she would not eat or would otherwise be obnoxious for you. Quite the contary, she had a good appetite, slept on the caretaker’s bed, and followed them around everywhere.

She arrived home clean and in great shape, and hasn’t been following me around nervously for fear that I’ll leave her again. My greatest problem is that I now have to find a supplier of the venison and possum canned dog food you introduced to her. She refuses to eat her dry food without it 🙂

You can be sure that the next time I leave town, Emma is headed your way again !

I give a rating of 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place :  As Emma’s dormitory appears to have been the caretaker’s bed, I think her individual accomodations were quite clean 🙂 After Emma’s stay, you may disagree 🙂

5/5 for the service level of the Care Counsellors : All the ASD personnel have professional attitudes towards their work and are highly competent in what they do – paying attention to the needs of both dogs and their people. I especially appreciate your sending me photographs of Emma midway through her stay with you.

5/5 for the cleanliness of my dog :  Emma is amazingly clean – especially her ears

4.5/5 for the relaxed state of my dog after returning home :  Emma came back from the ASD Care Centre much more relaxed and less clingy than she has been when she has been boarded elsewhere. If anything, I think she misses the activity of following the caretakers around. “

A family of 3 dogs, Belle, Polo and Prinz came over to stay for 10 days when their owner, Elsee had to travel. Her family demographics was unique : Belle and Polo, the Shih Tzus were good pals while Prinz, the local cross breed, didn’t like Polo but needed their company as he was a little insecure. We had just the solution for them : 2 of them had a spacious dorm to themselves, while Prinz occupied the adjourning one where he could still be in close proximity to them but had his own personal space

Belle and Polo had also sensitive skin due to their senior years and had to be observed carefully while Elsee warned that Prinz was a little defensive in a new environment

It was all good after a few days and they settled in well with our experienced Care Counsellors who helped to socialize Prinz as well

Here is what their owner, Elsee, had to say :

“All the dormitories were very clean and not smelly and urine was mopped up promptly. The Care Counsellors were very helpful and courteous. Prinz seems better behaved now – he usually gets very excited, jumps up to greet me and takes quite a few stern ‘down’s before he settles down. Now he responds a lot faster. Thanks to the Care Counsellors, busy as they are but still kind enough to throw in a bit of training time. Really appreciate it !

I give a rating of 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place, 5/5 for the service level of the Care Counsellors, 4.5/5 for the cleanliness of my dogs and a 4/5 for the relaxed state of my dogs after returning home”

Joey who owns Pawz Supplies, a pet shop in Woodlands, undertakes to find good boarding places for her customers’ dogs. A firm believer in not selling puppies, she initially wanted to help ASD by sending her customers’ dogs to the ASD Care Centre. After sending two dogs over, she realized the marked difference in the behaviour and health of the dogs versus previous boarding places she had used.Tyco, a poodle, was one of them that stayed with us for 15 days. You could see he was well loved and pampered as he wanted to be carried and had to be coaxed to eat. After the initial settling in period, he made himself at home with the Care Counsellors, was happy and ate well

Here is what Joey, had to say :

“Happy to see the cleanliness of the ASD Care Centre and it is tick free ! Hope that this will carry on. Had previously bought customers’ dogs to other pet hotels for boarding, often got ticks when they came back from boarding. Pretty big space for the boarding dogs to roam about, not confined to cages, dogs are less stressful. Thumbs up !

I give a rating of 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place, 4.5/5 for the service level of the Care Counsellors, 4.5/5 for the cleanliness of the dogs and a 4.5/5 for the relaxed state of the dogs after returning to the owners’ homes”

Benji is a handsome young Singapore Special whom Dolly found wandering on the golf course of a country club and has since adopted him into her heart and home. Dolly left Benji with us when the family had to travelYou could tell Benji was a really loyal dog as he was constantly looking up from his dormitory whenever a person walked into the vicinity, thinking it was Dolly who was returning to bring him home. But with interaction and some massages, and his spacious dormitory, he settled in nicely and was content to take it easy for the rest of the stay

Here is what Benji’s owner, Dolly, had to say :

“Thank you so much for having the opportunity to board my dog, Benji at the ASD Care Centre from 6 to 8 June.  Please convey my appreciation to the Care Counsellors for the care and attention rendered to Benji.  The boarding place is clean and spacious and I had no worry that Benji was in good hands. Compared to other kennels I have seen, the ASD Care Centre is very much more condusive. Keep up the good work !

Sha Sha, a 6 year old Maltese/Poodle cross, came to stay with us when Brandon and his family went for a holiday. Initially Brandon was apprehensive about Sha Sha being separated from the family and also skeptical about boarding homes as their prior experience had Sha Sha locked up in a small cage. After viewing our spacious dormitories and the number of happy, healthy dogs, and the extent of our care and experience, Brandon was quite at ease with Sha Sha staying with us.

But it was observed that Sha Sha missed her family badly the first night and so she was transferred to the Care Counsellors area where she could be much closer with people. She also developed a hearty appetite which was a good sign that she was relaxed and comfortable !

Here is what Sha Sha’s owner, Brandon, had to say :

“Thank you so much for taking so good care of Sasha these few days. Everyone at home is so happy to see her.

The level of dedication of the Care Cousellors is impeccable. Extra care and dedication to the dogs make them feel so much at home, alleviating any possible discomfort that the dogs might experience from being away from their owners.

You guys will definitely be at the top of my list and I will strongly recommend to anyone I know. I will definitely bring her back for boarding or to visit you guys. It’s great work that you guys are doing and please do keep up the spirit of caring. Thanks once again and looking forward to see you soon !

Here is what Whisky’s owner, Mandy, had to say :

“I’m very satisfied with the service provided by ASD and I greatly appreciate the effort put in to take care of Whisky. The Care Counsellors were very helpful and provided me with updates of Whisky when I smsed them. Kitaro was one of the fortunate dogs to get adopted by a wonderful family, so when Ruth and her son had to travel, they had Kitaro stay over with us.Having grown into a handsome, strapping adult, Kitaro still had fond memories of us and showed his joy with big hi fives and roll overs ! He loved playing fetch and catch with his favourite tennis ball in his spacious dormitory and it was just like old times ! But of course, he much preferred going home with Ruth where he gets all the love and attention !

Here is what Kitaro’s owner, Ruth, had to say :

“Thanks for looking after Kit. It was nice to see that he remembered all of you ! What a smart doggie ! My son Tsuyoshi does most of ‘Kit work’ and he’s amazed at how well your dogs are taken care of !

Prince and Princess, two inseparable Singapore Special siblings stayed over when Ping Ping and her family went overseas. Having being bottle fed since they were very young puppies, the two of them had developed a very strong bond and big bro Prince was very protective of his little sisterAlthough they needed time to warm up to strangers, they were quite content with each other’s company and in their spacious dormitory until Mummy Ping Ping came to pick them up !

Here is what Prince & Princess’s owner, Ping Ping, had to say :

“Winston and I were pleasantly surprised by the standard of cleanliness and how professionally it was managed. I would personally like to thank and commend the Care Counsellors who have been friendly, kind and knowledgeable in running the Care Centre. I was impressed by their responsiveness in following up on things and even went the extra mile in updating me on alternate days during the 6 days stay of Prince and Princess.

The place is very airy, open and clean. The setup of each dormitory with kennels and run space is a good idea and the whole compound is secured and safe, with no worry of dogs escaping. The fees are reasonably priced and affordable.

Hooray to ASD, keep up the good work !

I give a rating of 5/5 for the cleanliness of the place, 4/5 for the service level of the Care Counsellors, 5/5 for the cleanliness of my dog and a 5/5 for the relaxed state of my dog after returning home”
