Waldo was a stray in Woodlands who went missing one day. He was found a few days later, alive but lying on the sidewalk, unable to move, a victim of a hit and run. He was admitted to the hospital as an emergency case and was found to have multiple pelvic fractures, a dislocated left hip, abrasions and wounds, as well as secondary issues such as spondylitis, tick fever and high liver protein. He is now recuperating in a foster home, and we hope to be able to rehome him once he has recovered. He is only 7 years old, and still has a lifetime of love to give and receive.
Waldo's hospitalisation bill was $17k, and we unfortunately did not manage to raise enough funds from our online appeal to cover even half that amount. We hope that the proceeds from the sales of this T-shirt – designed by the talented Marcus Liew (IG: mmetamorpheus) – will help us to offset the balance of Waldo's medical expenses. Any additional revenue will go towards helping other dogs like Waldo.
